ROADS NETWORK DESIGN
AND IMPROVEMENT

Haul road design in open-pit mines is a key factor that determines future productivity and earth-moving costs. While there is a set of common practices for haul road design Robonomica has invented an innovative approach based on deep learning models tested on real mines data. The approach precisely takes into account future fuel and tires costs and offers possible road variants in a fully automatic way.

SURFACE EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION

Suboptimal distribution of mining excavators by mining sites leads to overall productivity reduction and may require purchase of new excavator units. The cost of a new mining excavator is often several times higher than the cost of a mining dump truck with a lifting capacity of 130-220 tons. We offer a software module that analyses efficiency of excavators
fleet in order to obtain their optimal distribution throughout the mine. This module allows for reduction of excavator fleet enlargement cost.
